Make your own Washi Tape.... GET OUT OF TOWN! What a great idea. Definitely filing this one away to do again later. I made the tape with tissue paper, I did not have ANY tissue paper so I ran sacked my house looking for some. Then I remembered that I just got "Year in Flowers Collection"... so I ran downstairs and looked in the recycling bin for it. Whoo hoo! It was there. You should have seen me taking out all the garbage looking for some tissue paper.
I stamped the strips with my Year in Flowers Collection in different colors. I then glued the strips on the kraft paper. I did not have any scor-tape, but will be adding that to my collection.

Beautiful job!! And good for you for 'making do' without the scor-tape. I don't have any of the really wide kind so that's going to be on my shopping list.
it looks great! I love the color that you picked as well as the way that the flower theme just goes together so nicely. I totally had a LOL moment when you described rummaging through the recycling for tissue paper... I have done that for cardboard or chipboard or cereal boxes. And I love the ah-ha feeling you get when you find something you can use!!!!
love your colors! thanks for sharing that you were able to do it without scoretape. I am on a spending freeze (oh the horror!) and don't have any score tape left. So glad I know I can still do this without it.
